Your Questions Answered

Q. What fees do Classic Bordeaux Wines charge for any purchase that I make?

A. Classic Bordeaux Wines charges a fee not exceeding 25% of the cheapest market price. This fee allows us to manage your wine for the term of investment and includes transportation and storage and insurance for a minimum of seven years from the date of investment.

Q. 25% seems high compared to my usual investments, how can you justify this?

A. The Fine Wine Market is very different from many of the markets that you may be used to. This market is more akin to the Antiques Market than the Stock Market; you are purchasing a tangible product that needs careful attention. It is also a retail based market so commissions are very different from those you would expect to pay when purchasing shares on the stock-market. Even Auction Houses which used to be considered the cheapest way to purchase wine can charge fees of 15% +VAT with no associated investment or management service. However when you consider the potential profitability of Fine Wine Investment a fee of 25% can be deemed to be very reasonable.
